Dr. Tillman is a Community Psychologist with more than 20 years of experience serving children, youth, and families. She empowers clients through evidence‑based practices and compassionate support, helping them heal, grow, and build resilience. Her early work as a social worker focused on helping families reunify after child welfare involvement, regain stability, and rebuild their lives. She later specialized in trauma‑informed care, with particular expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to promote emotional well‑being.
Driven by the belief that “children are our most precious resource,” Dr. Tillman is committed to creating safe, trusting, and affirming environments for clients of all backgrounds. She is a lifelong learner who shares her knowledge through trainings, seminars, and open dialogue, welcoming individuals regardless of race, ethnicity, or gender identity.
Dr. Tillman earned both her master’s degree in psychology and her Ph.D. in Community Psychology from National Louis University.
