Jason Lee is a Licensed Social Worker and clinical therapist with Kids Above All’s Counseling Solutions program in Lake County. He earned his Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in 2022 and his Master of Social Work from Case Western Reserve University in 2024. In addition to his individual therapy work, Jason has experience facilitating group therapy and supporting youth struggling with substance use, mental health challenges, complex family environments, and criminal justice involvement.
Jason primarily works with children and teens, with a particular strength in connecting with adolescents. He helps clients explore the roots of their struggles, reframe unhelpful thought patterns, and build healthier ways of coping. His clinical approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychotherapy, using CBT to address negative thoughts and behaviors and DBT to support emotional regulation and coping skills.
Jason is passionate about helping young people recognize their strengths, build confidence, and strive toward being the best versions of themselves. Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys movies, superheroes, exercising, listening to pop music, creative writing, and spending time with family and friends.
