Kayla Pagan

Kayla Pagan is a case manager on KAA’s Counseling Solutions team and has been with Kids Above All since January 2023. Originally from Seattle with roots in the Midwest, she has called Chicago home since 2023. Kayla earned her Bachelor of Arts in Law and Justice from Central Washington University in 2020.

Before joining Kids Above All, Kayla worked as a Critical Time Intervention Navigator in Tacoma, Washington, supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and helping them access essential resources such as housing, employment, healthcare, and vital records. She later served as a case manager with the National Guard Youth Academy, assisting students at risk of dropping out of high school and helping them acclimate to the program and transition after graduation. Earlier in her career, she worked as a toddler teacher and provided in‑home care for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Kayla prioritizes client autonomy and honors each person’s voice in the services she provides. Clients often describe her as warm, patient, and skilled at breaking down complex systems while finding resources that support their goals.
