Kim Morreale McAuliffe joins KAA's Board
Chicago-based Kids Above All today announced the latest addition to its Board of Trustees, Kim Morreale McAuliffe. Morreale joins the organization’s 34-member governing board, which oversees the agency’s administration, as well as champions the children in their care.
Morreale’s extensive experience in journalism, government, and business will be critical in helping Kids Above All carry out its mission. Beginning her career in media, she later transitioned into government as the Director of External Affairs and spokesperson for the Illinois Department of Transportation. In 2006, she founded Morreale Communications, an award-winning public relations firm that has received national and world recognition for innovative public health and safety campaigns, visual storytelling, and advocacy. It is not only Morreale’s work but her drive to continue to make a difference and change the public narrative that led her to join Kids Above All’s Board of Trustees.
“I’ve witnessed the passion, commitment and resilience of the Kids Above All staff, board, volunteers and partners – they are change-makers who are building a world for kids and families to achieve their full potential. All children deserve the opportunity to live in a safe, supportive and loving environment so it’s my honor to join this prestigious board and support the critical impact Kids Above All will continue to shine on our communities,” said Kim Morreale McAuliffe.
“We are excited to welcome Kim Morreale McAuliffe to Team Kids Above All! Her wealth of experience, expertise and passion will play an important role in ensuring that we do everything we can to place the safety, well-being and education of kids above everything else. With her help, our organization will get to the next level and our young people will achieve their full potential,” said Dan Kotowski, President & CEO of Kids Above All.
In addition to her work with Kids Above All, Morreale serves as the Public Engagement Committee Chair for the American Council of Engineering Companies. She is also a Board Member for the Supplier Diversity Committee for the Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC), Illinois Technology, Engineering and Construction (ITEC) and Saint Juliana School. Finally, Morreale maintains active membership with the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce.
