Lauren Walker is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and the Clinical Director for KAA’s Lake County Counseling Solutions program. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University in 2009 and her Master of Arts in Clinical Professional Psychology from Roosevelt University in 2012.
Lauren has nearly 14 years of experience in the mental health field, including mentoring youth, providing psychosocial rehabilitation for adults with chronic mental illness, conducting crisis and involuntary commitment evaluations, and supporting clients with entitlements navigation. Her background also includes individual therapy across the lifespan, housing and re‑entry case management for adults leaving nursing home settings, and overseeing data collection and quality assurance for 988 and crisis hotline services.
