Thouin joins KAA’s Board

Kids Above All welcomes newest Board Member

Chicago-based Kids Above All today announced the newest addition to its Board of Trustees, Véronique Thouin. Thouin, a Global Managing Director in the Ecosystem, Partnerships & Sales organization at Accenture, joins Kids Above All’s 34-member governing board, overseeing the agency’s administration and promoting its mission to build better lives for children and families impacted by poverty, violence and injustice.

Thouin’s extensive management and leadership experience will be vital in helping Kids Above All to increase its impact in and around Chicago. Prior to her tenure at Accenture, Thouin was an attorney in Canada, practicing commercial, banking, real estate and bankruptcy law. In 2000, she joined Accenture’s Consulting group, leading post-merger integration and implementing processes to increase efficiencies within the telecommunications and high-tech industries. Thouin then moved to the Alliance group where she was later elevated to her current position, Global Managing Director, where she currently co-leads Accenture’s partnership organization with the mission to accelerate the growth of Accenture’s partner relationships, and continuously bring innovation to clients and society. She also supervises a team of executives dedicated to the development of new partner relationships. She is recognized as a thought leader within Accenture and across the industry on what good partnering looks like.

“I am thrilled to join Kids Above All’s Board of Trustees and committed to using my skills and energy to help children from under-resourced communities around Chicago succeed. We must do more to ensure our youth have the support they need to realize their goals, and I look forward to working with my fellow Board members and Kids Above All’s fantastic team to increase the organization’s impact,” said Véronique Thouin.

“We are excited to welcome Véronique to Team Kids Above All and our Board of Trustees! Véronique’s leadership, experience and passion for making a difference in the lives of children who have experienced trauma will elevate our mission to new heights as we continue to help more young people across the Chicago area to achieve their full potential,” said Dan Kotowski, President & CEO of Kids Above All.

Thouin’s appointment to Kids Above All’s Board continues her commitment to sharing her time to improve the health and education of children and families in Chicago and abroad. Throughout her career, Thouin has also volunteered in various capacities at Cradles to Crayon Chicago, Lycée Français de Chicago and Le Gardeur Hospital in Canada.
