KAA's Early Childhood Programs

Kids Above All’s early childhood education programs help kids ages 0-5 get ready to succeed in school and in life. Our staff go into the homes of prenatal women and young families living in poverty, in Elgin, Lake County, Chicago and Suburban Cook County, providing the support our clients need to become their child’s first teachers and best advocates. We work with our early childhood families to ensure each child lives in a safe, nurturing and loving environment, so they can grow, learn and realize their full potential.

Kids Above All’s Doula Program in Lake and Kane counties support prenatal women and new families, so they have a great start to their lives together. Our DONA-trained doulas are with our clients through pregnancy, birth, and early parenting.

The Parent Empowerment Program (PEP) promotes early learning, brain development and resiliency in young children ages 0-3, empowering parents to be their child’s first teachers. Our Educators bring activities from our evidence-based curriculum that strengthen the parent-child relationship and help kids achieve developmental milestones.

Kids Above All’s Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) program is a home-based service that ensures children ages 3-5 in Chicago and South Suburban Cook County are ready for kindergarten. Our nationally-recognized, evidence-based curriculum improves our kids’ early math, science, and reading skills, and helps parents better understand their child’s development so they can prepare them for a bright future.
