Military & Veteran
Family Program

Kids Above All’s Military and Veteran Family Program proudly serves current and former military personnel and their families in Cook and Lake counties as they seek to improve their well-being and transition into civilian life. Our staff facilitates access to mental health, housing, and community resources to make sure they have what they need to succeed.

Services Include:

Armour counseling

Kids Above All’s counseling team assists children in military families, as well as current military personnel, veterans, and their spouses/significant others dealing with emotional and psychological issues pertaining to combat, deployment, grief, re-entry, trauma and other challenges not related to military service. The program is particularly helpful for those families with an active-duty servicemember with combat experience or preparing for deployment. For more information, please call (773) 239-8942.
