KAA’s Board Adds Member

Matthew Williams Joins Board of Trustees

Kids Above All today announced the latest addition to its Board of Trustees, Matthew L. Williams. Williams joins the organization’s 34-member governing board, which oversees the agency’s administration, as well as champions the children in their care.

A DePaul University Law School alumnus, Williams joined Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. in 2003, making partner in 2009. Mr. Williams concentrates his practice of law in medical malpractice, catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death and premises liability, securing several record-setting recoveries for his clients. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers as one of the Top 100 lawyers in Illinois; honored by Best Lawyers in America in the field of Personal Injury Litigation every year since 2018; and named a Leading Lawyer every year since 2015 from a survey of his legal peers. Mr. Williams’ extensive experience in the legal field will be critical in helping Kids Above All carry out its mission.

“As a father, I am honored to be a part of this amazing organization that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our youth. All children should be given the opportunity to lead happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives, and Kids Above All really goes above and beyond to make that happen. I look forward to meeting my fellow board members and getting started,” Matthew L. Williams said.

“We are thrilled that Matt is joining our Board and Team Kids Above All! His expertise, leadership and enthusiasm for helping kids and families ensure Kids Above All’s impact will continue to grow as we build better lives for young people facing poverty, violence and injustice,” said Dan Kotowski, President & CEO of Kids Above All.

In addition to his work with Kids Above All, Williams is actively involved with Raising a Reader and the Michael Matters Foundation.
